Year 10 student Ryder Mason has been selected to represent Victoria in the School Sport Australia 18 Years And Under Softball Championships.
At just 15, Ryder is one of the youngest players chosen for the championships, which will be held in Blacktown, western Sydney, from May 24-29.
After starting in the juniors with the Werribee-based Hawks Fastpitch Softball Club, he progressed to the men’s side and was a member of the 2025-26 B-grade premiership.
This year he has already competed in the under-17s state championships, with his team finishing third.
