School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS)
School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) is a framework that unites our school community in building a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment. At Manor Lakes P-12 College, we recognise and celebrate students who demonstrate our College values, fostering a culture where positive behaviour is noticed, valued, and reinforced.
Students are recognised for their achievements, effort, and contribution to school life.
Our expectations are guided by our four core values:
-
- Aims High
- Shows Respect
- Is Responsible
- Values Community
These values are brought to life through our Positive Behaviour Matrix, which clearly outlines what each value looks like in action. Students are actively involved in defining and modelling these behaviours, ensuring they are meaningful and relevant to our school community.
This proactive approach helps every student understand what positive behaviour looks like – and ensures those behaviours are recognised, celebrated, and shared across the College.
Positive Classroom Management Strategies (PCMS)
The Positive Classroom Management Strategies (PCMS) are 8 evidence-informed practices that create safer, more purposeful learning environments supporting student learning, wellbeing and behaviour. At Manor Lakes P-12 College we believe in using consistent routines and a positive, explicit approach to teaching expected behaviours.
