Our Safe School

Safe. Supported. Empowered.

At Manor Lakes P-12 College, the safety and wellbeing of every student is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a child safe and child friendly environment where all students are protected, respected, and empowered to thrive.

Our Child Safety and Wellbeing Policies outline the measures we take to promote and maintain a culture of care, trust, and responsibility across the College.

In all planning, decision-making, and daily operations, Manor Lakes P-12 College will:

  • Take a preventative and proactive approach to child safety
  • Empower students to have a voice in decisions that affect them
  • Foster a culture of openness where concerns about safety can be raised without fear
  • Respect diversity and cultural differences while keeping child safety at the centre
  • Provide clear guidance on appropriate behaviour and conduct with children
  • Ensure only suitable, trained, and supervised staff and volunteers work with students
  • Make sure students know who to talk to if they feel unsafe or have concerns
  • Report and respond to all concerns of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment promptly
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and external organisations to uphold student safety

We believe every child has the right to feel safe, supported, and valued – at school, at home, and in the community. For more details, please refer to our Child Safe Policies and Procedures.
