Maya from Prep B has showcased her artistic flair to the entire nation by winning second prize in the National Water Week poster competition.
She was among 2320 students from all around Australia to submit entries this year for the annual competition.
It’s a wonderful achievement by Maya, particularly as organisers said “the creativity, enthusiasm and teamwork shown by the children was truly inspiring”.
The theme for this year’s competition was, ‘Water Heroes: Make Every Drop Count’.
During National Water Week (October 19-25), winners were announced for all levels from kindergarten to Year 8.
