Saturday May 16 was Education Support Personnel Day – a day to recognise the contributions our ES staff make to our school.
As a tribute, they each received a special biscuit, along with succulent packages made by our secondary horticulture classes.
Stephen Fraser, Victoria’s deputy secretary of school education programs and support, said: “We know education support staff are crucial for the learning and wellbeing of all students, including those with disability and additional needs. Whether they are supporting in the classroom, coordinating programs, or keeping schools running, their work is essential and greatly valued by us all… Every school would say their education support staff are a big part of what makes their school great.”
