Fine efforts by our cross country, baseball, netball, AFL and badminton teams.
Divisional cross country was held on May 28, and 17 of our 22 competitors progressed to regional competition, to be held on June 15.
Of those 17 students, 15 achieved a top 10 finish in their age group.
Congratulations to Sairam M (Year 7) and Bella Bennett (Year 11) for finishing 1st in their age groups, Bradley Hardy (Year 8) and Ellis Short (Year 12) for coming 2nd, and Mussa Mohammed (Year 10) for finishing 3rd.
A special mention also goes to the senior boys baseball team, who performed exceptionally well at the SSV State Championships. Unfortunately, we fell just short of making the championship game and bringing home the flag. Here’s the team:
