This week, our Grade 6 students took part in an exciting two-day Arts Boot Camp, held in the secondary school as part of the application process for the 2027 Visual Arts Academy.
Throughout the program, students developed their visual arts skills while beginning work on a folio to support their Academy application. They explored still life drawing using charcoal and engaged in thoughtful discussions about the elements and principles of art, building both their technical skills and creative understanding.
It was a fantastic experience, with students embracing the opportunity to challenge themselves and showcase their artistic potential.
